There are numerous beaches to visit within a short distance of Tintagel, including Castle beach and sandy beaches such as Trebarwith Strand, Bossiney Cove and Polzeath.

There are some lovely walks along the National Trust footpaths. Further afield there are wonderful gardens to see at Lanhydrock, the Lost Gardens of Heligan and at St. Austell, the Eden Project.

Local attractions include King Arthur’s Great Halls, The Toy Museum, and The Old Post Office. Local activities include horse riding, bicycle hire, badminton, to mention a few.
